Veteran Atlanta news anchor, Amanda Davis dies after suffering massive stroke at the airport
Veteran news anchor, Amanda Davis has died after being hospitalized for a "massive stroke."
The TV anchor who has enjoyed an amazing
career for over 25 years was at Atlanta's airport heading to San Antonio
following the death of her father when she had a medical emergency.
The 62 year old broadcaster died around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday after
suffering a stroke at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport
on Tuesday.
The station reported that Davis died at the hospital
Wednesday surrounded by family. A statement on the station's website
said Davis' "family is asking for privacy at this difficult time."
