Stephen Appiah to contest Ayawaso West Wuogon seat

Former Black Stars captain, Stephen Appiah is expected to contest the Ayawaso West Wuogon (AWW) 2024 parliamentary election.

According to sources, he will be contesting as an independent candidate

He will be competing against National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dumelo and incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) Lydia Seyram Alhassan.

However, political analysts have always projected that the AWW as a swing seat that goes to either the NDC or NPP over the years.
