weCARE Foundation supports Adenta Oyarifa Squatters with free Medical Screening, Distribution of Food, Drinks and Bible

The weCARE Foundation in partnership with EIB Save a Soul Foundation recently organized a multifaceted outreach program to support the Adenta Oyarifa Squatters community. 

The initiative, which  was held December 16, 2023 included free medical screenings, distribution of essential food and drinks, Counseling of substance abuse, STIs, Sign ons and Renewals NHIS, Evangelism and the provision of Bibles, underscored the foundation's commitment to addressing both the physical and spiritual needs of the community.

About 448 persons were pre registered for the National Health Insurance Card, both new and renewals.

The NHIS Boss for Adentan Scheme, Esther Charway was present at the occasion to share some few words to the people of Adenta Oyarifa Squatters community and also in attendance was the Adenta Municipal head of department of social welfare and community development grace the occasion.

weCARE is a year long comprehensive plan to reach out to urban sprawlers in the Adentan Municipaility.
