Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are 'back together' after 'intense counselling'
Just weeks after it was reported that Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have ‘called off their divorce’, it has been claimed that the pair have rekindled their romance thanks to intense spiritual counselling.
According to the couple’s biographer, Ian Halperin, the pair are “back together” less than one year after announcing their split in September 2016 after 12 years together.
Speaking to the Mail on Sunday, Halperin shared: “Brad took the first step forward, then they collapsed into each other’s arms.
“There were a lot of tears, nothing was left on the table. They had it out, right there and then in this very modest house.
“In that moment they decided to make a fresh start.
It was a ‘come to Jesus meeting’ that marked the beginning of a new
phase in their relationship.”
The biographer
added that the pair plan to officially “re-couple” and have been
undergoing spiritual counselling sessions in a bid to get their
relationship back on track.
Last year it was claimed that Brad and Angelina fell out after Brad had a verbal altercation with their oldest son, Maddox, whilst on board a private plane.
Speaking of the incident, Halperin continued:
“Angie was very, very angry about the incident on the private plane
between Brad and Maddox, she threw everything she had at him.
“It was toxic. I’ve spoken to many people
around them, friends and family, and no one could see how they could
possibly recover but both of them realise they are happier together than
apart. Once they cleared the air between them, things started to
improve.
“They
can’t live together but they can’t live apart. She has worked hard on
herself since the plane incident, and so has Brad. They are still in
love with each other.”
However, Halperin said that he wouldn’t rule out the couple going ahead
with their divorce, using the legal proceeding as a “clean sheet” to
“start their lives anew”.
The biographer’s claims come after Angelina opened up about her struggle with being single, recently telling The Telegraph:
“Sometimes it appears I’m pulling it all together but really I’m just
trying to get through my days. Emotionally it’s been a very difficult
year.
“I don’t enjoy being single. It’s not something I wanted. There’s nothing nice about it. It’s just hard.”
