#SundayMotivation by Annie~Joy: Mother!

I have seen an African women grow since I was young. I have seen and witnessed their toil and struggles. I know an African woman who takes care of 6 children after divorce which was 15 years ago till now. I know an African woman in the village who goes to fetch water and still carries her baby at her back even in the rain. She has sleepless nights  because the baby is mostly in cries.

An African woman never leaves her children's side no matter how bad they may be. Recently I witnessed a man jailed for robbery and when he was on his way, an African woman stopped them and wiped the sweat off this man; this woman was thought to be a mother of this man. An African woman even at her old age cares for her grown children and won't take the chance of their destruction.

I have known an African woman. I see and known an African woman who gave her education up to carter for her child. Even the survival and braveness of the Asante kingdom is as a result of an African woman. An African woman. Your mother. Happy Mothers' day to your mother for keeping you for nine months and nurturing you this far. Some people weren't privileged. But you are because of your mother.

God bless your mother
