Ellen DeGeneres forgot to bring ID to White House
White House security doesn't fool around when it comes to requiring guests to provide photo identification.
Ellen DeGeneres just found that out the hard way.

Well, how else can they make sure it's really Ellen and not, say, Kate McKinnon from Saturday Night Live?
She finally got in about an hour later, just in time to do the mannequin challenge with some of the other attendees for this afternoon's Presidential Medal of Freedom ceremony, which is Barack Obama's last before leaving office.

In addition to DeGeneres, the final group of recipients for this term includes Robert De Niro, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Hanks and Michael Jordan. You can watch it live on USATODAY.com starting at 3 p.m. ET.
