Man Claiming To Be Jay-Z’s Secret Child Takes Legal Battle To The Supreme Court [Video]

A man claiming to be Jay-Z‘s secret son accuses the rapper of abusing the legal system in refusing to take a DNA test.

According to reports, Rymir Satterthwaite, 30, just wants the rapper to acknowledge his existence.

“This is not going to be over until justice is served,” he told Daily Mail..

“I just want to live my life, and when it is all said and done, I hope that Jay-Z would want to be a part of my life, if that is God’s will.”

Satterthwaite has been fighting for the right to call the rapper his father for ten years. But, in February, he filed a new motion with the New Jersey Supreme Court, asking the court to unseal the documents, as he believed it was preventing his due process. However, the motion was rejected by the high court but was again refiled in the Appellate Division, which is considering the claim.

“I won’t stop fighting for this until I win. And I will win because the law is on our side,” the 30-year-old said.

According to Satterthwaite, his mother, Wanda, hooked up with Jay-Z in the early 1990s before he became a global superstar.

Jay-Z, who has been married to Beyoncé since 2008, has continuously denied being Satterthwaite’s father.

“The allegations have been previously reviewed thoroughly by the courts and have been refuted,” said Jay-Z’s attorneys.

“I am sure that will be the outcome of whatever filings Mr. Satterthwaite may be currently considering.”

By the time Satterthwaite was born in July 1992, the rapper was no longer dating Wanda, causing her to identify her childhood sweetheart, Robert Graves, as his father.

Wanda filed a legal complaint in New Jersey in 2011 demanding child support from the rapper.

However, the lawsuit was eventually dropped because it was filed in the wrong state and never re-filed.

“Plaintiff’s request for genetic testing and for support is dismissed for lack of subject matter jurisdiction, and for lack of personal jurisdiction, over defendant Shawn Corey Carter, without prejudice,” the court ruled, according to the publication.
