Veteran Ghanaian actor, Ekow Blankson is dead

Veteran actor, Ekow Blankson is reported to have died.

Until his demise, Ekow was the Commercial Manager of online news portal, Ghanaweb. The actor has featured in many prominent movies.

Details about the cause of this death is currently unknown.

Entertainment radio station, Hitz FM broke the news on its Twitter page.

 He worked with Media General as the Director of Brands and Corporate Communications.

Ekow Blankson was popular and starred in movies like Borga, Frozen Emotion, Savannah, In April, Checkmate, Illusions, A Woman Scorned, Pool Party, Famous and others.

He had a Masters Degree in Fine Arts and a Diploma in Theatre Arts (Drama) from the University of Ghana, Legon.

He also graduated from the Heineken Global Commerce University, Amsterdam with a marketing certificate.

Ekow Blankson was a married man but the name and identity of his beloved surviving wife has never been a public knowledge.
