Kanye West to Purchase Conversative Social Network, Parler after being locked out of Twitter

Kanye West has agreed to purchase Parler, the Conservative social networking platform.

The parent company claimed that “the proposed acquisition will assure Parler a future role in creating an uncancelable ecosystem where all voices are welcome.”

The parties intend to enter into a “definitive purchase agreement” and anticipate closing the sale in the fourth quarter of 2022, according to the tentative agreement.

Parlement will continue to provide “use of private cloud services via Parlement’s private cloud and data center infrastructure” as part of the proposed acquisition.

Following Twitter’s removal of an anti-semitic tweet and Meta’s restriction of West’s Instagram account for violating its rules, West has agreed to buy Parler.

West, who had taken a long break from Twitter, reaffirmed the necessity for a social media network that did not censor Conservative viewpoints.

He said, “In a world where conservative opinions are considered to be controversial, we have to make sure we have the right to freely express ourselves.”
