Tiffany Haddish Arrested In Georgia After Falling Asleep At The Wheel, Facing DUI Charges
Tiffany Haddish faces a DUI charge after Georgia police arrested her for dozing off in the driver’s seat of her vehicle early Friday morning in Georgia.
Haddish was arrested by Peachtree City Police around 4 AM. Despite the charge against her, the comedian smiled while taking her mug shot picture.
Cops were sent out to the location for a call about a driver asleep at the wheel. Officers also got a description of the vehicle and were on the lookout for it when they discovered the actress pulling into a neighborhood, TMZ reported.
She was stopped and arrested for DUI and improper stopping on a roadway. Authorities believe she had smoked marijuana.
Luckily, Haddish was detained for a few hours and posted $1,666 to bond out around 6:30 AM.
Although driving under the influence is never acceptable, sources told the outlet that she has just lost her grandmother, who raised her, her dog, and her close friends, Bob Saget and producer Carl Craig.
