Uganda: “I and my wife have gone out of food supply” – Bobi Wine says after 4 days of alleged house arrest

Uganda presidential candidate Bobi Wine has spoken up after allegedly been placed on house arrest by Uganda’s military.

It’s been four days since Uganda’s presidential candidate Bobi Wine revealed that him and his wife are allegedly under siege by the military in the country.

Today, Sunday January 17, Wine in a new tweet made by his social media admin, has disclosed that him and his wife has run out of food supply due to the alleged house arrest and that his wife tried getting food from the garden but was blocked and allegedly assaulted by the military.

“It’s now four days since the military surrounded our home and placed my wife and I under house arrest. We have run out of food supplies and when my wife tried to pick food from the garden yesterday, she was blocked and assaulted by the soldiers staged in our compound. (ADMIN)” the tweet said.

He also stated that the independent member of the Parliament of Uganda, Zaake Francis was arrested and allegedly arrested and beaten outside his gate by the military after he went to visit him.

Also, the media and his party officers were restricted from having access to him, as he shared photos from outside his house.

“Everyone including media and my party officials are restricted from accessing me. @ZaakeFrancis was arrested outside my gate as he made his way to my house, he was badly beaten by soldiers. He is now in Rubaga hospital. (ADMIN)”
