Volta Region's Monique Agbedekpui Crowned Miss Ghana 2020
The grand finale of the show was held virtually on www.lalafio.com from the National Theater.
She bested 15 other candidates for the crown and the right to represent the African nation in the next edition of the Miss World contest. Isabella Agbo and Annlisa Anangfio placed first and second runners-up, respectively whiles Selasi Penu and Patience Fafali took the fourth and fifth position respectively.
Ms Monique promised to make a difference in her society with her crown, assuring that she would not let the organisers, her family nor herself down.
CEO of Exclusive events, organisers of the pageant Inna Patty, thanked her team, the contestants as well as their families for their support throughout the pageantry.
She said even though Covid-19 hit Ghana and everybody was extra careful and taking precaution, the support was massive from all angles.
