Covid-19: Ghana’s Case Count Hits 2074

Ghana has recorded additional 403 positive cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19) within the last 48hours bringing the country’s tally to 2,074.

This is the highest jump in Ghana’s case count.

This was disclosed by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) in its latest update of the country’s case management.

In a regional breakdown, the Greater Accra Region is leading with 1,795 cases.

The Ashanti Region now has 99 cases, Eastern Region 70, Central Region 21.

Oti and Upper East regions have recorded 19 cases each.

Volta and Northern regions have recorded 16 and 13 cases reapectively.

Upper West Region has recorded 10 cases while the Western Region has nine cases.

The North East region has two cases while the Western North Region has one confirmed case.

The Savanna, Bono, Ahafo and Bono East regions have no case of coronavirus.

One more person has also died of the virus bringing the case count to 17 as at April, 30.
