Miss Metro Tema 1st Runners-up, Queen Tina To Launch Live A Life Of Cleanliness (LALOC) Project.

Queen Tina whose real name is Ernestina Adzo Dika, a woman with love for environment. She always like to see her immediate environment green and clear. This drove her to audition for the Miss Metro Ghana pageant last year and God been so good she was the Star performer and 1st Runner-up for her Metropolis, Tema.

According to her, she really waiting for the time when our major cities will be clean and free from filth.

''Currently Ghana is ranked as the 7th most dirtiest country in the world and this breaks my heart. It's high time we tackle the issue of filth. This is why I'm launching my project dubbed "LALOC Project: Project Clean Tema. "LALOC is an acronym for Live A Life Of Cleanliness. My main target for this project or campaign is the children, students in the basic schools in Tema. I believe that for us as a country to achieve cleanliness, we must educate our children. Because if they are taught on how to keep the environment clean at a young age they would grow up in the next 10 to 20 years and practice proper ways of managing waste. They won't litter around, they won't throw rubbish into gutters et cetera. The Bible even says it that we should train up a child in the way he should grow and he won't depart from it. So my campaign is to sensitize the young on good sanitation practices. I believe this will go a long way to minimizing or controlling the poor sanitation situation in the country.''

The launch is on 5th June @ 9:30am at Hotel JoeCarl, Community 6 on the theme: "Educating the young to grow in cleanliness. "
