Zylofon Media To Review Contracts Of Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Joyce Blessing & Others

Zylofon Media has served notice it intends to review contracts with the artistes and actors signed to the company. It says the plan is part of efforts to “reassess themselves to focus.”

“Contracts are not being terminated or reduced. Every viable business at a certain point in time has to do a review or reassess themselves to refocus. If there’s a need for them to change their style, it’s acceptable. Being stagnant doesn’t help. So I think Zylofon Music has gotten to a point where we have to make some changes,” stated Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo, Communications Director for Zylofon Music on Hitz FM.

Well there may be an iota of truth in the claims but it’s not necessarily or strictly a major effective change. However, the duration of the contracts of some artistes are being reviewed, but as to whether it’ll be an extension or reduction it’s still in process.”

He added that the company has to abide by  contractual obligations, and cannot get rid of a creative without regard to the necessary documents.
