Prince George’s Not-So-Shy Birthday Photo Is Here

An official portrait of Prince George has been released to mark his fifth birthday, being today, July 22, 2018.

The photo which shows the birthday boy beaming for the camera while posing in the back garden of Clarence House, the home of his grandfather Prince Charles, was released by his proud parents  Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share a new photograph of Prince George to mark His Royal Highness’s fifth birthday tomorrow,” Kensington Palace said in a statement Saturday.

For the shoot, George wore a £42 designer shirt and £44 navy blue shorts by fashion label Amaia Kids.

Prince George Alexander Louis, the oldest child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge children, was born July 22, 2013, at St. Mary's Hospital in London.
