Annie~Joy writes: The Back Door. Part 3 #BeInspired!
Society!
We have gotten to a point where we don’t know who to look up to as role
models because the truth of their success is not told well. Society!
We tell the success of some legends who lived like Dr Kwame Nkrumah,
Nelson Mandela, Williams Shakespeare well but we overlooked the part
they messed up and the difficult days in their success story. We don’t
tell that part for the generations to know and learn that the victories
didn’t happen overnight rather they came with some shots here and
there.
Society is
suffering because society is not doing its work as a society and the
society is you and I! Society complains about sanitation but drops
unwanted plastics around. Society! Which Ghana is, will remove the good
seeds of cocoa and export it outside and make products out of the bad
seeds.
A society that
protrude itself as hospitalized but is not such to its own citizen.
Society! Which will smile at a white man passing by but won’t lift a
hand or give that same smile to its member!
Society
which sit on opportunities for its members and takeover the country
alone. Society! Who use the back door without fear and apathy and
later make announcement in front of the members like everything is
okay.
Society which is
you and I! A small girl told me she doesn’t enjoy the story of Yaa
Asantewaa again because the story has been distorted making the story
unreal. The struggle which should be a lesson is no more told. Instead
she enjoys the story of Rwanda because the pain, struggle and loss is
still told.
This is to
say; society cannot be the best we are wishing for if the patterns
doesn't focus on the front door which are the structures put in place .
The
front door which is the path that has got a lot of struggles but gives
confidence. That has got a lot of disappointments but there are
appointments that brings honour.
This
front door enables you to do the right thing even though nobody is
watching which is integrity.
That teaches you to practice patience and
makes you humble.
That
makes you understand that a good name is better than riches. That will
enable you to have fear for God which is knowledge. Society is you and
I. Let’s see a distinguished generation who are desperate to use the
front door. Be encouraged and know that God didn't promise days without
pain, laughter without sorrow,
Nor sun without rain but he did pledge strength for the day, comfort for the tears and light for the way.
Chosen generation, using the front door comes with what God approves of and it's everything that brings honor to you.
You shall stand anywhere and talk with confidence and fearless heart. Use the front door!
Keep praying with an ever-increasing faith prayer.
Right from the onset, your sequence of events has been a motivation to you obliviously.
Embrace every event in your life for that is a motivation...
