Paramount Chief Of Cape Coast Congratulates Teephlow On His VGMA Win As He Commands 1,000 On The Streets

The latest and the biggest sensation in the Ghanaian hiphopcircles, Teephlow, who is on a historic thanksgiving tour to his birth region-the Central Region of Ghana.

The “Thank You” tour which is in line with the young talent’s principle of sharing his time, talent and treasures with his teaming fans, was organized by his management team Spyder Lee Entertainment and is scheduled to run from Thursday, April 19, 2018 to the night of Saturday April 21, 2018.

His first point of call was the Emintsiminadze Palace, where he paid a courtesy call on the Paramount Chief of Cape Coast. His exploits, a series of firsts - the first artiste from Cape Coast to be nominated in two consecutive VGMAs, the first artiste from Cape Coast to have the highest number of nominations in a VGMA, the first artiste from Cape Coast to have won the Record of The Year award and the first artiste from Cape Coast to have embarked on such a novelty appreciation tour to his home town, courted the admiration and bonhomie of the Royal elites of Cape Coast.

The Paramount Chief of Cape Coast, Osaabarima Kwesi Atta IV, who was full of praise and smiles, decorated the iconic indigen of his land and assured him of their royal support and commitment to his career

“I stand on behalf of the entire Oguaman and Central Region to congratulate you on this award. Because of the respect you’ve brought to the Oguaman State through your music, we are very elated. I urge all upcoming artistes to take the job of being a musician seriously because it is great wealth in modern times. 

We know of musicians abroad who are making millions of money that even caters for them in their old age. Music is good business now so I am proud to see you rise through the ranks to get better; but I will urge you to stay away from negative comments and recalcitrant behaviour.” Osaabarima Kwesi Atta IV added.

Teephlow, a devout Muslim, also made time to visit the Chief Imam of Cape Coast after service on Friday, April 20th. He had a Ronald welcome from the Muslim community too during the tour.
