Relebogile Mabotja Adds New TV Show To Her Production Slate, Raising Babies 101

Multi-talented, award-winning actress, singer, presenter, musical director, radio host and MC, Relebogile Mabotja, has just added a new TV show to her already impressive slate of productions, Raising Babies 101.

Raising Babies 101, debuted this morning at 10h30 on SABC 2, and sees Relebogile Mabotja produce and executive produce the weekly show under her company with partners Anthony Waymen-Nel and Nadia White, The TV Smiths.

Presented by Carol Ofori in front of a studio-audience, Raising Babies 101 is a weekly talk series for first time parents and every caregiver in South Africa. The show will tackle relevant topics pertaining to expectant parents to children of five years of age. The debut season will feature celebrity parents such as Dr Malinga, Stoan Seate, Leanne Manas, Emtee, and Zizo Tshwete just to name a few.

“I’ve produced many television shows, but this is the first time that I am producing a show that I have been a part of from conception. It’s such a surreal feeling for it to have finally aired today. I believe Raising Babies 101 is a pertinent show that South African parents and expectant parents will enjoy,” shares Relebogile Mabotja.

A prominent figure behind the scenes of some of South Africa’s favourite TV shows, Relebogile Mabotja is proving to be one of the hardest working women in the industry. She is currently the producer of live music show Afro Café Season 13 for SABC 2 under Bonngoe Productions where artists like Amanda Black, Sjava, Don Laka and many more have graced the stage, with presenter Stoan Seate. The show airs every Wednesday at 10pm on SABC 2.

Coming soon to BET Africa, Relebogile Mabotja is the producer of The Man Council, a new talk show hosted by TBose, Naked DJ and Khaya Dladla, on relationships, love and sex. The show will premiere on 26 February 2018 at 18h35. Special guests featured include the likes of Jessica Nkosi, Bontle Modiselle, Masechaba Ndlovu and more.

Make sure to follow Relebogile Mabotja for some behind the scenes of her television productions and she can be heard on 702 weekly hosting the Early Breakfast Show from 4 – 6am!
