"President Trump has a history of elevated cholesterol, but his overall health is excellent" - White House physician reveals
Doctor Ronny Jackson, the White House physician
provided details of President Donald Trump’s medical exam during a press
briefing.
According to him, Trump's overall health "excellent," has a history of elevated cholesterol, wants to lose up to 15 pounds.
"His overall health is excellent. Cardiac performance during the physical exam was very good. He continues to enjoy significant long-term cardiac and overall health benefits that come from an abstinence of alcohol and tobacco," Dr. Ronny Jackson told reporters.
He added that President Trump has a
"History of elevated cholesterol and is currently on a low-dose
of Crestor. In order to further reduce his cholesterol level and further
decrease his cardiac risk, we'll increase the dose of this particular
medication," he added.
"All data indicates the president is healthy and will remain so for the duration of his presidency." Dr. Jackson said he would like the President to lose 10 to 15 pounds over the next year through diet and exercise.
