Nina Hastie To Host The 6th Annual SA Hip Hop Awards

Multi-talented comedian, actor, writer, radio and television presenter, Nina Hastie, is set to host the 6th Annual South African Hip Hop Awards (SAHHA2017) ceremony for the second consecutive year, taking place tonight, Wednesday, 13 December 2017 at The Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City, Johannesburg.

Having been part of the South African Hip Hop culture for over a decade, Nina Hastie is the perfect host once again for this year’s event themed “Hip Hop Politics”. Nina Hastie will bring to the ceremony not only her unmatched knowledge and enthusiasm about Hip Hop, but real insights about the culture and artists whom she frequently interviews on her respected platforms such as her breakfast show, Expensive Breakfast on Touch HD, and her TV show, Trending SA, where she recently interviewed the likes of Cassper Nyovest.

Tonight’s SAHHA2017 will see Nina Hastie co-host with Hip Hop veteran Amu, in what is expected to be a tongue in cheek presentation of SA’s “Hip Hop Politics”. Tickets are available from Computicket for R200 and can be purchased online here: https://goo.gl/bxtdag

Known as one of the hardest working women in the industry right now, Nina Hastie has had a phenomenal 2017.  The multi-talented comedian has rightfully earned her spot at the top of the South African entertainment and urban culture scene.

Nina Hastie has performed at SA’s top comedy festivals this year, appeared on three concurrent television shows namely: Trending SA, Soap On A Rope and Karakters, lent her voice to numerous brands with voice overs, engaged in social media campaigns for brands, and earned the top ratings at Touch HD for her breakfast show just to name a few.

AS one of the most recognised and influential personalities in SA, the country can definitely expect a lot more from Nina Hastie in the New Year.
