This is the wedding dress Meghan Markle described as perfect in every way
With news that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are officially engaged, the fashion set have officially started placing bets on who will be the
lucky designer selected to create the soon-to-be-royal’s wedding dress.
And a trawl through the archives shows that Meghan might have already dropped
some major hints about what her gown will look like.
When Markle’s on-screen Suits character Rachel Zane tied the knot on
the show in March 2016, Glamour sat down with the young actress to talk
all things bridal, including her preferred designers and favourite celebrity wedding dress.
“Delphine Manivet and Christos Costarellos are faves of mine for their
uniqueness and beauty,” Markle told the publication at the time. “And I will
always be a fan of Elie Saab. J. Mendel is spectacular as well, especially for
more structural designs.”
Markle went on to detail exactly the type of gown she would look for
if she was to marry...
To refresh your memory, here's the bridal dress Meghan wore for her on-screen
Suits wedding.
“Classic and simple is the name of the game, perhaps with a modern twist. I
personally prefer wedding dresses that are whimsical or subtly
romantic.”
If you’re wondering what that might look like, the star added that her favourite celebrity wedding dress of all time was Carolyn
Bessette Kennedy’s, describing the American’s understated slip style as
“everything goals.”
