UEFA Champions League: 6 heavenly goals as Roma stun Chelsea 3-3 at Stamford Bridge
Chelsea was stunned on Wednesday night by AS Roma football club, who
through star striker, Edin Dzeko, delivered a stunning brace to give
Chelsea their worst result in this season's Champions league- a dramatic
3-3 draw at Stanford Bridge.
Brazilian defender, David Luiz, put Chelsea ahead with a stunning
curled effort from outside the penalty box in the 11th minute then
Belgian star winger, Eden Hazard doubled the Blues' lead on 37 minutes,
shooting into the net after Alvaro Morata's shot was serenaded by
Roma's defense. Former Mancity left back, Aleksandar Kolarov brought
Roma back in the game before the break before Edin Dzeko scored a
brilliant double to put Roma 3-2 ahead. Hazard, just like he has done
most of his career for Chelsea, came to rescue his team with 15 minutes
to play, with a superb header to ensure Chelsea got a point from the
game against Roma, a team that had last kept a clean sheet away from
home in the Champions league as far back as 2007.
