The “Smart Money Seminar” Presents Financial Education For Young Professionals

Real Dreams Foundation presents a financial education seminar dubbed “Smart Money Seminar” that will be held at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Accra on the 21st October, 2017 from 12:00pm-3:00pm.

Scheduled speakers for the event  are media personality/entrepreneur, Anita Erskine, tech startup advisor, Ashwin Ravichandran and brand strategist, Muhammida El Muhajir who will share their personal stories of entrepreneurship and personal finance.

The seminar will provide practical advice on all areas of personal finance to university students, young professionals and entrepreneurs who will be in attendance.

Speakers lined for the event:

Anita Erskine is the Managing Director of Anita Erskine Media, a multifaceted talent holding and content development company. She is an award-winning Pan African broadcaster and Women’s Advocate and holds over 16 years of experience in Media.

Ashwin Ravichandran is the General Manager of Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST), an organization that trains young entrepreneurs from Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa with the necessary skills to start their own software companies and compete in the global market.

Muhammida El Muhajir is a global brand/digital marketer, media consultant and founder of WaxPrint Media which provides strategy for Remy Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover and Villa Monticello Hotel in Ghana. Her experience also includes working with innovative international brands such as Nike, Diesel and Pepsico.

“It is important to imbibe the youth with life-changing tips about money and financial investment. Money-management topics such as saving for college, buying a house, using credit wisely, investing, managing debt and financing freedom are not taught in a lecture hall but this seminar will provide a learning platform for attendees,” says Professor Kwasi Adarkwa, Former Vice Chancellor of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

“Our goal is to create an environment where young professionals and entrepreneurs can come together to learn about money, acquire skills from accomplished and seasoned speakers that will ultimately lead to their financial success," adds Adarkwa.
