Watch: Handcuffs couldn’t stop this man from proposing to his girlfriend
Nothing was going to stop this Oklahoma man from getting down on one knee and popping the question to his girlfriend.
For many people, a handcuffed proposal might not be ideal, but for Leandria Keith, it was perfect.
According to News On 6,
Brandon Thompson and his family were celebrating the Fourth of July —
which also happens to be his birthday — at home when police turned up at
his home to arrest him for six felony warrants.
Police body camera video captured Thompson walking out to the cruiser
before he suddenly stops and asks the officer if he could do something.
Once he gets the go-ahead from the officer, Thompson drops to one knee and asks Keith to marry him.

With his hands cuffed behind him, Thompson couldn't present Keith with a ring, but she still accepted the proposal.
"I knew I was gonna say yes," the bride-to-be told News On 6. "Like, I
love him a lot. We go through our ups and downs. I guess it's like
unconditional love, you know?"
Keith said it feels "very amazing" to be engaged. The couple plans to
get married once they have dealt with Thompson's legal troubles.
"Maybe by him taking this step to propose to her, so they can get
married, he can take a step to getting his life together and putting
these warrants behind him and improving the life of his kids and his
future wife," Muskogee Police Department spokesman Lincoln Anderson told
the outlet.
