Maiden Chow Ghana Festival Slated For June 10th & 11th

Just Fresh, organisers of local food fair is set to bring to Ghanaians their first edition of Chow Ghana Festival on June 10th and 11th at Venue Ghana, behind Tullow Oil, Dzorwulu in Accra.

The maiden edition of the food fair that seeks to showcase the culture of Ghana mainly through traditional food, performances and display of art, culture and dance will treat patrons to a highlife performances, games, Live cooking demonstrations and fine dining, Culture and dance display.

The event as envisioned to be a household event will be held annually to attract both locals and expatriates from all walks of life to come and have a feel of the Ghanaian foods.

Speaking to the leader of Just Fresh, Mr. Edison, he said the festival is targeting at drawing over 4, 000 attendees from all over the world to Ghana.

“Ghanaians love to defend their food to the death!  not to talk of Ghanaian Jollof and the endless rant around their favourite waakye spots, so we thought, why not bring these favourite traditional meals together, with music,” he added.He added that, “More than 100 local food vendors, made in Ghana producers, fashion designers, health practitioners, bloggers etc. showcasing their products to more than 4, 000 attendees.”

Chow Ghana Festival, first of its kind will create and encourage a bond with Ghana’s food brands, making them the people’s first choice.

It also to foster relationships, partnerships, creativity through food and encourage art and talent.
