Ariana Grande Thanks Paris for Her First Show Back on Tour After Manchester Bombing
Ariana Grande resumed her Dangerous Woman
tour in Paris on Wednesday (June 7) for her first official headlining concert
show since a suicide bombing at her concert in Manchester last month killed 22 and injured
dozens.
After the AccorHotels Arena concert, the singer posted a photo to Instagram
thanking Paris and saying she is "grateful to be back."
Earlier in the day, she shared a note addressing her fans who were victims of
the Manchester terror attack.
"Thinking of our angels every step of the way. I love you with all my heart,"
she wrote. "Grateful for and incredibly proud of my band, dancers and entire
crew. I love you I love you."
On Sunday, Grande performed for the first time since the May 22 bombing at the One Love Manchester benefit concert she hosted to raise money for victims of the incident. That bill also featured guests Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, Justin Bieber and many more.
Grande's
Monday performance included her rendition of "Somewhere Over the
Rainbow" from the Wizard of Oz that she premiered at the One Love
Manchester concert and released Tuesday with proceeds going to the Manchester victims.
