There is a saying which goes; there is nothing new under the sun. This saying automatically communicates to you that, whatever you have started or you are doing has already been done by someone who existed or exists. Knowing that ideas are not bounded to one person but many, modifications could be made to an already existing product or situation in order to brand it in a new style. 

 

Normally, only the outcomes are different but has got similarities. Just like a car, there are different models even though they perform a similar function. Have you asked yourself why dance competitors who have a competition ahead would want to work secretly from their opponents or why iPhone producers would want to hide their new versions of Apple products from Samsung, Nokia, Tecno and others. 

 

Simply because these products compete for customers in the market and so each one wants to be unique. If other producers are to see the design of the camera for a new iPhone version, they might pick the idea and blend it to suit their product. Same thing goes for the dancers. Relate this to your everyday life. 

 

Sometimes, people become stressed out in life when they realize they are stuck and things do not move as they expect it. That is when you notice comparison. "I see my friend making it in life so I need to make it too". It is never wrong to develop such mentality. Even the legend, Williams Shakespeare, said and I quote: 

 

"There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so". How you assume and work on attaining your goal is the most important thing.
