When the child is young he or she thinks he or she is a royal due to the activities performed for him or her. Activities like changing of cloths, giving them food, bathing them etc. All these are not permanent and it's something done for you because you are not grown to be able do so. 

 

You get to a certain stage and all will be withdrawn. Yet we still have people who haven't gotten away of this thought 'when the child is young he or she thinks he or she is a royal'. The puzzle of life is dynamic and not static. That's when you get to high school and still find one who doesn't know how to wash her own cloths. The moment for your grace period is over therefore start to reason like an adult who is ready to battle in order to be acceptable in this world. Day in, Day out; we hear and get complains like my uncle in the states promised to pick me up but he failed me. My parents are rich so they can cater for me as long as I am alive. 

 

Hey have you forgotten money is a visitor? 

 

It comes and Go. Anything materialistic can burn into ashes within a twinkle of an eye. Why then do you rely on such that much. Many have falling victim to this issue. You’re still where you are because you relied so much on the promise your uncle gave you. He will cater for you to school outside due to that you relaxed. You are still where you are because you trusted so much in your family’s wealth forgetting someone sweat to build them up. You are mourning now because you believed so much in that relationship because the beginning seemed like heaven but now, only you know what you are going through. 

 

You are still where you are because when you were taken to school, you didn't take your education serious. Even the scriptures say “curse be unto the one who trust in man”. It's true we are being blessed through people which is not bad at all but that doesn't mean you should rely solely on man. When you were a child, you thought you will never grow and duties performed for you will never end? For how long do you want to rely on someone to fill your tummy. 

 

I know sometimes it worries you that you wish you could do something. That uncle, aunty, father, mother, etc has disappointed you. You don't know where to go now and start from. Mind you, you cannot achieve or gain anything by mere sitting around and just talking about it. It's high time you drop the mentality of if I be a child, I am a royal and totally forget but the relative who promised to take you outside to live life. Life is like a shadow in a midst; it passes quickly, and is no more. It's very short and you only live it once. Get up and plan for yourself. 

 

There is a saying which goes: “each one for himself God for us all”. The journey you are in, nobody can work it out for you. You do all the work for yourself and if your first work is impressive, then you will get a helping hand. Don't be full of expectations and believing in people that much. Forget about the wasteful days when you were waiting for that relative to send you money to start that business. Look out for another way and make life for yourself. Get on your guide and start acting like a mother who thinks about what her children will eat and cook it. I bet you, the moment you move, you will get someone helping. 

 

Knowledge is like a garden, if it is not cultivated, it cannot be harvested. If you don't make an effort to acquire knowledge then you will not expect to have it and if you do not put the knowledge you have to use, you cannot expect to gain anything from it. Therefore, go out there and look for that life you want and stop waiting on someone whose mind keeps changing over and over. Rely on God and earth will be joyful for you. Remember Life is an exam and everyone has his or her own question paper. 

 

THE ACTIVITIES PERFORMED FOR YOU TODAY IS JUST FOR A SEASON. Plan, study, focus and work them out yourself so you do not curse your self tomorrow, instead you will praise your God.
