Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's divorce finalized by judge

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's bitter divorce battle is finally over. A Los Angeles judge agreed to rubber stamp the couple's signed judgment Friday, meaning the sparring spouses should start the weekend single.

According to Daily News, the judge also denied Depp's request for $100,000 in sanctions against Heard.

"I just see this as a lot of bickering back and forth," Judge Carl Moor said as lawyers on both sides accused the other of delay tactics.

He said there was no evidence the court should "punish" Heard.

"I don't think you've made a showing they've frustrated the law," Moor told Depp's lawyers.

Outside court, Heard's lawyers cheered the decision.

"It's wonderful," Pierce O'Donnell said. "Our number one objective was to get her divorced."

Heard's other lawyer Samantha Spector said she was "thrilled" and called Depp's request for sanctions "frivolous."

"Our client can finally move on," she told the Daily News.
