#Ghanaelections: Man dies shortly after voting

Tragedy hit a 42-year old man at Kintampo in the Brong Ahafo Region, Abdulai Amidu when he died few minutes after casting his vote.

According to Mrs Elizabeth Kuntaa, the Verification Officer at the Kintampo Methodist Lower Primary A Polling Station, the deceased who looked visibly sick at the time of voting, was assisted to cast his vote at about 10am.

She said since it was difficult for him to walk after casting his vote, he was assisted by a Good Samaritan to go the Kintampo Municipal Hospital where he passed on.

Mrs Kuntaa said the family of the deceased has been informed about the death of their relative.
