Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris are reportedly friends again

If the splits and fights embedded in the latest entertainment news cycle left you asking, "Can't we all just get along?" a new report from Taylor Swift-land suggests that yes, in fact, we can.

Sources tell TMZ the "Shake It Off" singer and her ex, Calvin Harris, are back on good terms.

Though they are only texting at this point, insiders claim the couple, who split in the beginning of the summer after 15 months of dating, have re-established a friendship. According to the site, they began communicating again in the wake of Taylor's much-publicized breakup with Tom Hiddleston, whom she started dating shortly after news surfaced that she and Calvin had called it quits.

While there's been no confirmation on who made the first move towards a reconciliation, the two are reportedly done fighting about things like who deserves credit for "This Is What You Came For," the song Taylor wrote for Calvin.

Soon after news of Calvin and Taylor's split surfaced, the Scotish DJ and producer shared a tweet that suggested all was well between them.

"The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect," he wrote at the time.

A few "look at me now"-esque gym selfies showed up on his social media after that -- as well photos that suggested Calvin was partying with some new, bikini-clad female friends. But there seemed to be real bad blood between the exes even as Taylor's relationship with Tom Hiddleston heated up publicly.

A month later, however, it was reported that Taylor had written "This Is What You Came For" under a pseudonym and let him produce, arrange and take the credit for it.

That's when Calvin seemed to start questioning Taylor's motives in admitting her role in the track.

"Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though," he tweeted. "I figure if you're happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do."

In another post, he wrote: "I know you're off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I'm not that guy, sorry. I won't allow it. Please focus on the positive aspects of YOUR life because you've earned a great one."

By late August, however, Taylor's "new relationship" Calvin griped about on Twitter had ended. That's when TMZ's sources say she and Calvin began figuring out a way to be friends.

That said, there's no indication their relationship is headed beyond the friend zone at this point.
