Starr FM’s Naa Ashorkor bows out as Malaika host
Starr FM’s mid-morning show host, Naa Ashorkor, bows out as host of Miss Malaika.
Past queen and TV personality Berla Mundi will take over the driving seat.
In an interview with Starrfmonline.com, the ebullient presenter who has hosted the pageant for eight years, said it has been an amazing and great experience hosting the beauty pageant.
“Miss Malaika has been a part of me and will always be, but there comes a time in the life of a person to explore other opportunities.
"Miss Malaika has built me with rich experience in my career path like no other, I couldn’t have asked for more, I believe I have made a mark with the Malaika brand and it's time to explore other opportunities,” Naa Ashorkor stated.

Naa Ashorkor further explained: “Malaika is a family that has taught me great lessons, being a big sister to the Malaika ladies was awesome and we have been in constant touch. Although I’m bowing out as a host, the relationship is not over, I will be the fitness coach for this year’s edition as well as a judge during the grand finale of Miss Malaika 2016”.
The 2016 edition of Miss Malaika pageant premieres on Sunday August 28, 2016 on Ghone TV at 7:00pm.
