Only N6million has been raised to save Nollywood actor

Nigeriafilms.com has been keeping close tabs on ailing Nollywood actor, Leo Mezie, who is down with Kidney failure.

Well, there seems to be some progress in raising the money but it has been on a slow pace also considering the rise in the exchange rate which keeps increasing by the day.

The amount needed for the kidney transplant is N10 Million and for now, according to Nollywood actress, Chioma Okoye, who has been visiting him from time to time, the amount realized now is just N6 Million.

Chioma affirmed that some Nollywood practitioners have been contributing along with well meaning Nigerians but the amount realized is not enough as his Visa is currently ready for him to travel once the money is complete.

She also noted that a bank statement of those that have donated will be made available to the press if need be as she begged Nigerians to come to his aide.
