Peace Hyde Bags International Excellence In Journalism Award At Africa Boku Talent

The Africa Boku talent Awards seeks to award select individuals from the creative industry who have excelled in their chosen  field.

It is an annual award ceremony which has gained prominence over the years as the go to awards night for Africans in the diaspora who have gone over and above in their areas of expertise.

This year, the ceremony was held in Los Angeles at the California Market Center with Forbes Africa and founder of Aim Higher Africa, Peace Hyde, being awarded for her remarkable achievements in journalism and her social impact with her multiple award winning Not For Profit, Aim Higher Africa.

Peace Hyde whose journalistic body of work include her graphic depiction of the Accra floods which claimed hundreds of victims for the Forbes Africa publication and her harrowing tale of the plight of young women who had suffered genital mutilation for Forbes Woman Africa, is among a prestigious line up of previous winners such as former Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams and American actor and philanthropist Isaiah Washington.

Also picking up awards for their creative skills were Nigerian singer Iyanya, business woman Bisila Bokoko and the shade room creator Angelica Nwandu.
